SASH (Safe and Sound Homes)

Short term accommodation

SASH (Safe and Sound Homes) provides emergency short-term accommodation for young single homeless people aged 16-24.

Accommodation is in the homes of volunteer hosts in York, who are vetted and trained by the project.

They accept referrals from named agencies only and can be contacted by telephone on (01904) 659610.  This line is open 9.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Supported lodgings

SASH (Safe and Sound Homes) is a supported lodgings scheme for young single homeless people aged 16-24who need somewhere to live longer term.

They accept referrals from named agencies only and can be contacted by telephone on (01904) 652043
