CSV files
Comma-separated values (CSV) files are plain text files that can be read by spreadsheet applications and databases.
CSV files can be opened using Microsoft Excel. Unlike normal Excel spreadsheets the file does not hold any information about column widths.
Once you have opened a CSV file with Excel, to make the column width fit the contents click the Select All button and then double-click a boundary to the right of one of the column headings.
