  Carers can register an emergency plan for alternative care arrangements for the person they care for. Each carer is issued with a Carers Emergency Card and a unique PIN number

  The Patient Advice and Liaison Service exists to listen to patients, relatives and carer's comments, offer advice and information, and deal with any concerns about health care services
