  While you are in the process of being approved as an adopter you will be supported by a family placement worker. Once you have been approved your family placement worker will be closely involved in the placement of a child with you
• The adoption process
  Our target time for completing your assessment from the point of accepting your formal application is within six months
• Which children need adopting
  Children of all ages need adopting, but most will be over 5 years old. Few will be infants (0-3 years)
• Who can adopt?
  We welcome interest in adoption from people from all walks of life. We will look at your ability to offer a secure, stable home to a child
