Special offer compost bins

Reduced price home compost bins can be purchased through the Even Greener compost bin scheme. This offer is provided and subsidised by the York and North Yorkshire waste partnership to residents of York and North Yorkshire.

Two sizes of compost bin are available to buy:

• 220 litre compost bins cost £10 each plus £5.49 delivery
• 330 litre compost bins cost £13 each plus £5.49 delivery

Residents can purchase a second bin for half the cost (buy one get one half price).

Other products available

Even Greener also offer other products that can deal with kitchen and garden waste including wormery units, bokashi units and kitchen caddies for collecting kitchen waste. Water butts are also available. These products are not subsidised by the council.
