Loudspeakers
It is an offence to operate a loudspeaker in the street, between 9pm and 8am and at any other time for advertising a trade or business or entertainment. Vehicles selling perishable foods (e.g. ice cream vans) may use loudspeakers between 12 noon and 7pm; these times can be varied with local authority consent. There are some exceptions.
