City Of York Council

York800 - 800 Years of the City of York

Annual Monitoring Reports (AMR)

Under the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, we have a duty to prepare an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR). The AMR reports on Core indicators set by the government to monitor the implementation of planning policies. It also reports on the progress of the Local Development Framework set out by the Local Development Scheme.

This AMR is for the emerging Local Development Framework (LDF). However, as City of York do not yet have an adopted LDF, the AMR relates to policies set out in the Development Control Draft Local Plan (April 2005). The latest AMR covers the period 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011 and is available to download from the righthand side of this page.

The 2010/11report is the sixth AMR produced and covers the following areas:

  • Describes progress on the LDF
  • Presents monitoring data for the year
  • Details how our monitoring work will be expanded and developed.

Future AMRs will be made available via this page as they are produced. The next AMR, which will cover the period 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2012, will be published in December 2012.

You can also download previous City of York Council Annual Monitoring Reports from this page.
