The Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the planning documents that the council will prepare as part of the Local Development Framework (LDF). It provides a description of each of the documents, as well as the timetable for producing them.
Subject to confirmation from the Secretary of State:
Following a decision by the Executive on 30 March, the York Northwest sites will now be taken forward as two strategic allocations (within a York Northwest Corridor) in the Core Strategy. These sites will be supported by Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD), rather than through the production of a York Northwest Area Action Plan.
The first Local Development Scheme was published in 2005, this was updated by the Council and approved by the Secretary of State in 2007 and in 2008.
The various versions of the Local Development Scheme can be downloaded from the right hand side of this page.
