Germany Beck

Persimmon Homes and Hogg the Builder have held preliminary discussions with the council with regard to submitting a reserved matters application for the development of Germany Beck in early 2012

The outline planning permission granted the principle of development. This reserved matters application will seek approval of the detailed design elements of the proposal (appearance, landscaping, layout or scale).

The pre-application community involvement requirements are set out in the Council's adopted Statement of Community Involvement.  Informed by this, the developers held a pre-application consultation event onFriday 9th December, in the Old Library Room, Fulford. The developer consultation has now ended but further details and information can be found here.

There will be a further opportunity to comment on the application post submission through the statutory 21 day consultation period carried out by the Council.

The Council are re-establishing the Germany Beck Consultation Group to meet during the reserved matters application and the ongoing implementation period of the phased development.  This will give local representatives an opportunity to engage on different aspects of the application.
