The public inquiry

A joint public inquiry was held into applications by:

• Persimmon Homes and Hogg Builders for the site at Germany Beck, east of Fordlands Road, Fulford, and
• Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust for land west of Metcalfe Lane, Osbaldwick

The inquiry began on 13 June 2006 in the main hall at the Guildhall, starting at 10.00am. It finished on Monday 24 July, with site visits being held for Metcalfe Lane Tuesday 25 July and for Germany Beck Friday 28 July.
