Germany Beck village green
There will be a Pre-Inquiry meeting, at St Olave's Church Hall, Marygate Lane, YO30 7BJ, 10am, 2 September 2008.
The Pre-Inquiry meeting will hear from applicants, objectors and third parties relating to procedures leading up to and during the Inquiry into the application to include the land east of Fordlands Road and south of Germany Lane in the Register of Town or Village Greens, under Section 15 of the Commons Act 2006.
The Inquiry is due to start on 21st October and is expected to run for 3 days.
Germany Beck and Metcalfe Lane
Germany Beck, Fulford and Metcalfe Lane, Osbaldwick are proposed housing sites. A joint public inquiry has been held into both applications and the Secretary of State's decision has now been issued.
Hungate
Hungate is a site in the City Centre next to the River Foss. Outline planning permission has been granted for a mixed use scheme including for offices, housing, shops and a focal community building.

Nestlé South
In September 2006 Nestlé Rowntree announced that capital investment is needed to upgrade and improve facilities on the more modern northern part of the Haxby Road factory site in order to retain Nestlé Rowntree's presence in the city. This will create redevelopment opportunities on the older, southern part of the site (referred to as Nestlé South).
Terry's site
The Terry's factory complex lies to the South of the City Centre adjacent to York Racecourse. Redevelopment of this site could provide a prestige development, which contributes to the long-term success of York's Economy.
University of York: Heslington East Proposed Campus
An additional campus for the University of York is proposed between Heslington Village and Grimston Bar Park and Ride. A Public Inquiry has been held for the application and a decision has now been issued by the Secretary of State.
York Northwest
York Northwest is a major area for regeneration within the York Urban area and includes two large brownfield development sites, York Central and British Sugar
York Central
York Central is the largest single development site in York.
