Park Rangers

Park Rangers work across many of the parks and local nature reserves in the city. They arrange activities and events that involve the community and their local greenspaces, encompassing the wildlife that lives there. A copy of the latest Parks and Open Spaces events and activities leaflet is available to download to the right of this page and information is also on the Yortime website.

Activities include leading guided walks and giving talks to school groups, holding sessions for brownies and scouts, running school holiday activities and the day to day practical site management with the help of volunteers. Working with friends groups across the city, they promote the service and the green spaces available and chase grant funding.

Park Ranger sessions are free of charge. For more information or to book a session please contact us, using the details to the right of this page.
