A number of parish councils maintain allotment sites for residents in their parish. Most of these sites are small and usually have a waiting list. Not all parishes have allotment gardens. As far as we are aware there are none in Acaster Malbis, Askham Bryan, Askham Richard, Deighton, Elvington, Hessay, Naburn, Osbaldwick, Skelton or Stockton on the Forest.
