This small, rural site was opened in 2008. Just outside Strensall village on the Sheriff Hutton Road, the allotment site has 20 'half' plots.

The allotment gardens here all have low post and rail fences, allowing easy conversation across the garden fence. A small brick building provides secure tool lockers for all tenants, so individual sheds are not allowed.

This site doesn't have an allotment association but there's a notice board in the tool store and tenants hold informal meetings.

There is a waiting list for this site.
