A large site stretching up the hill from Scarcroft Road to Albemarle Road.  Two public footpaths run through the allotments and adjoining plots are enclosed by mixed hedges, giving the site a countryside atmosphere.

Scarcroft and district allotment association runs a well-stocked allotment shop, organises work parties and holds social events, including an annual feast of allotment produce.

There is a high demand for allotments in this area, so the waiting list is very long.  You may wait 2 or 3 years for a plot at Scarcroft allotments so it's worth planning ahead if you'd like a plot here.
