A dynamic and friendly allotment association has worked to restore and upgrade this site over the last six years. Hempland Lane Allotments has an association hut, open at weekends for the sale of seed, garden supplies and surplus produce. There is also a compost toilet.

The allotment association have created a community wildlife area and are improving pathways. The association organises regular working parties, an annual site bonfire and open days.

Raised beds are available to rent on 2 plots for less able gardeners.

There is a waiting list for allotments on this site.
