Pests Business Rules and Policies

  • Advice and help identifying pests is free.
  • Treatments for pests, excluding rats, cost £56.00 (£47.66 + VAT).  If the customer proves to be in receipt of income support they will receive a 50% discount.
  • Treatment for rats cost £11.00 (£9.36 + VAT).  If the customer proves to be in receipt of income support rat treatments will be free.
  • Fees for commercial properties for rats is costed at £56.00 (£47.66 plus VAT) for the initial visit - but any subsequent visit will require an assessment as ongoing work will vary depending on the size and frequency of the treatment.
  • Fees for commercial properties for all other pests vary depending on the size and frequency of the treatment - each case will require the Pests Control Officer or Pest Control Back Office, to assess the requirement and offer a specific quote.
  • For pests other than rats, the treatments carry a guarantee of six weeks after the treatment date, during which time any re-treatments will be carried out free of charge.
  • For rats, the re-treatment guarantee period is 3 weeks from the date of the treatment.
