Advice and help identifying pests is free. Treatments for pests, excluding rats, cost £60.00 (£51.06 + VAT). If you prove to be in receipt of income support you will receive a 50% discount.

Treatment for rats cost £12.00 (£10.21 + VAT). This price covers any retreatments needed within a three week period. If you prove to be in receipt of income support rat treatments will be free.

You can pay your pest control invoice online using City of York Council online payments.

Commercial fees

Fees for commercial properties for rats is costed at £60.00 (£51.06 plus VAT) for the initial visit - but any subsequent visit will require an assessment as ongoing work will vary depending on the size and frequency of the treatment.

Fees for commercial properties for other pests vary depending on the size of the treatment. Again, you can pay your pest control invoice online using City of York Council online payments.

Usually carried out free of charge within 6 weeks of treatment for insects, 3 weeks for rats.
