Assistance with school uniform is mainly for children in secondary school who are transferring into years 7, 8, 9 or 10, in the September of each year. Forms are available from 1 April each year to 31 August or whilst funds are available. Parents can apply once a year for assistance with clothing.
Download and complete the application form for assistance with school uniform and return it to the Access team address.
Parents of children who are transferring from primary to secondary school qualify for an £85 grant. A green LEA voucher for £30, and a £55 voucher from a local trust will be issued. These vouchers will be sent out separately after the spring half term break.
Parents of children who are transferring into years 8, 9 or 10 can only apply for a £30 green LEA voucher.
The green LEA voucher can be spent at any of the local shops that provide school uniform and Rawcliffes store in Colliergate. The £55 voucher issued by the trust to year 7 pupils can only be spent at Rawcliffes store.
