We operate a catering contract with ISS Facility Services - Education to provide school meals to all of our schools. We’re committed to providing healthy, high-quality meals as a nutritious and tasty lunch is important to our pupils and staff.

Healthy meals

We place the healthiness of meals at the heart of our cooking policies. Our food is as freshly sourced as it can be, and most schools have choices of which one is always a vegetarian option. Our cooks are trained to the highest standard so that food is prepared and cooked and vended correctly.

Our schools have three different types of school menus:

• the choice menu
• the set single menu
• or a cash cafeteria where secondary pupils can buy various items individually priced

Prices

The set and choice meals for primary schools cost £2.20 a meal.

Prices for the cash cafeteria vary as items are individually priced. For secondary pupils with a free school meal allowance where there is a cash cafeteria pupils may spend up to £2.35.
