  This Best Value Performance Plan (BVPP) shows how the City of York Council performed in 2007/08. It also shows how we compare with similar councils around the country. The Audit Commission has recently assessed the City of York as a 3 star (good) council, which is "improving well" under the Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) framework.
