As a council our aim is to offer support and advice to all the people of York. The Customer Advice Centre will provide information and advice to local people and organisations on issues such as:

• Adult social care including arranging your own care support
• Children's social care
• What to do if you are, or at risk of being made, homeless
• How to get help if you ,or someone you know or care for, is disabled
• Where to get advice on social care and housing issues
• Where to get advice on welfare benefits
• Where to get advice if you provide care for someone else

The Customer Advice Centre is based at Housing and Adult Social Services, 10-12 George Hudson Street, and is open from Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.00pm

If you, or someone you know, needs help with housing and/or social care services you can either call in or telephone during opening hours. You are very welcome.

The contact details for the Customer Advice Centre will be displayed clearly in the top right-hand corner of each web page where appropriate.

Visitors' parking is available at the back of the George Hudson Street for blue badge holders. Go into the car park from North Street, first left past the First Hussar public house. Press the intercom button to the right of the barrier. You can get into the Customer Advice Centre through an entrance at the top of the car park.
