Finance and Housing Centre

The City Centre office deals with all queries concerning finance and housing in York. You can also pay your City of York Council bills there and get benefits advice.

For queries concerning finance and housing in Acomb, Dringhouses and the west of the city see the Acomb Office.

Benefits Section

For all council tax and housing benefits queries contact the Benefits Section. 

You can call in at the office from 8:30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. No appointment necessary between 8.30am and 1.00pm. Appointment only from 2.00pm to 5.00pm. You can book appointments by ringing the number above.

You can also get help and advice from the Benefits reception point at the Acomb Office.
