Some charities will also fund breaks for holidays/carer breaks (eg Family Fund).

Holiday Care

This is a charity which provides holiday and travel information for disabled and older people. They can provide details of respite care accommodation throughout the UK, all available on-line.

Offers short breaks to carers of older people.

Gives support in the home to the carers of children and adults with care needs.

Offers a volunteer visiting service, which can also give the carer a short break

Selby and York Carers Centre (SYCC)

Has a number of free holidays to Pontins at Blackpool available during Carers Week. Can also access holiday funds through the Princess Royal Trust for Carers.
