Financial support to voluntary organisations is directed to services and activities which help us to achieve our aims and objectives and those of the Community Strategy and the Local Area Agreement in relation to the needs of local residents.

Funding available varies between council departments and can take the form of project grants, interest free loans, Discretionary Rate Relief (DRR) and service level agreements.

For annual and longer term service agreements and DRR the closing date for all funding applications is 30 November 2007.

• Full application form for all new applications (Form 1)
• You will also need the guidance notes for new applications 

Taking Play Forward

If you want to apply for play funding under York's Taking Play Forward policy complete the 'Meeting better play objective form' additional form to say how you meet at least five of the Better Play objectives.

Other application forms

• Short Application form for renewal of current service agreements (Form 2)
• Application for discretionary rate relief (Form 3)
