Financial support to voluntary organisations is directed to services and activities which help us to achieve our aims and objectives and those of the Community Strategy and the Local Area Agreement in relation to the needs of local residents.
Funding available varies between council departments and can take the form of project grants, interest free loans, Discretionary Rate Relief (DRR) and service level agreements.
For annual and longer term service agreements and DRR the closing date for all funding applications is 19 December 2008.
For more information about the types of funding available, who can apply and how to do so, as well as other types of support and sources of funding download our booklet on the right hand side of this page
You are strongly advised to contact the appropriate officer named in the document above before applying for funding.
