We can help you register or re-register a birth and organise naming ceremonies. We can also provide copies of birth certificates and help with historical searches

Staff at York Register Officer will advise you about registering births and deaths, arranging civil marriage ceremonies, baby naming ceremonies, commitment ceremonies (for same sex couples) and renewing vows
