Small Lotteries

The Gambling Act 2005 deals with the provisions for societies (non commercial organisations) wishing to promote lotteries.  

Societies wishing to promote lotteries must register with the local authority as a small society lottery.

Fees:

  • Application fee: £40.00
  • Annual fee: £20.00 - this must be paid within a period of two months which ends immediately before each anniversary of the registration.
