Where else to send licensing forms

If you apply for a premises licence or a club premises certificate, or if you apply to vary a premises licence or club premises certificate, you must send a copy of your application to each of the following 'responsible authorities' listed below.

Police

North Yorkshire Police Headquarters, The Licensing Section, Fulford Road, York, YO10 4BY

Fire and Rescue Service

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, The Area Fire Safety Office, York Fire Station, Clifford Street, York, YO1 1RD

Health and safety

The local enforcement agency for the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. In most circumstances this will be the

For council owned properties only the relevant agency will be:

For vessels, but no other premises, responsible authorities also include:

  • navigation authorities within the meaning of section 221(1) of the Water Resources Act 1991 that have statutory functions in relation to the waters where the vessel is usually moored or berthed or any waters where it is proposed to be navigated at a time when it is used for licensable activities;

One of the licensing objectives is the protection of children. We would like you to download, complete and return the Children and Licensed Premises form with your application when you apply for the grant of premises or club licences.  The form is available to download on the right hand side of this page.
