We licence all caravan sites unless specifically exempted.

Applying for a caravan site licence

We will licence the caravan site if you make an application in writing. You can download the application form on the right hand side of this page.

Can the application be refused?

We can only refuse the licence:

• if there has not been a formal grant of planning permission or
• if planning permission will expire within 6 months of the debate of application or
• if the occupier has had a site licence revoked within the last 3 years

Timescales

We must issue the licence within 2 months of receiving the application

Licence conditions

We usually attach licence conditions having regard to the standards set by the government.
