We can remove 'bonded asbestos' items such as:

Items should measure no more than 180 centimetres by 60 centimetres (approximately) as we're only able to remove smaller items.
Request an asbestos collection only if you've removed the material from the property yourself. If a builder has removed the asbestos, they're responsible for disposing of it safely.

Request an asbestos collection
Contact us with the following information:
- name, address and contact telephone number
- collection address
- quantity and type of items to be collected
- details of where they will be left for collection
We'll then arrange an initial visit to assess the asbestos for collection. Following the assessment, we'll provide you with a free, no obligation quote.
If you're happy with the removal price, contact us again to arrange collection at a later date.
Asbestos collection days
We can visit to assess or collect asbestos according to the ward you live in on:
- Tuesdays
- Wednesdays
- Thursdays
Asbestos assessments and collection days are the same as for bulky waste collections.
Allow a minimum of 5 working days' notice when booking a collection. We can't guarantee we'll be able to deal with your request if you call the day before the scheduled collection date for your area.
Preparing asbestos for collection
Prepare your asbestos for collection according to the guidelines on disposing of bonded asbestos safely.
Present your asbestos:
- outside, in an accessible place
- double wrapped in heavy-duty plastic
- not in bin bags or carrier bags

Your asbestos will be assessed according to the weight, size, cost of disposal and transportation.
You're not obliged to proceed with the collection if you're not happy with our quote after your assessment.
Missed collections

Any missed collections should not be reported until the next working day following the agreed collection date.
Disposal of asbestos at Hazel Court HWRC
We accept bonded asbestos for disposal at Hazel Court (HWRC), but there's a charge for this service. Find out more about our chargeable waste prices.
